Sir: Dr. Ahuja points out the importance of considering organic catatonic disorder in a patient with new-onset catatonia and expresses concern that we did not focus on that issue in our case report.1

First, our case report was based on a patient who was admitted to the medical emergency room with a diagnosis of catatonic syndrome. Past history of psychiatric disorders and current organic causes of the flu syndrome were absolutely excluded.’ ‹’ ‹
