I first read this magical work over the December holidays
when the season was sprinkled with warm childhood memories,
and I was unable to put the book down. Mesmerized, I read
on, fascinated by what proved to be a magical mystery tour
through Lenore Terr’s previously told treatment of Cammie, a
“wild child” who was a victim of and witness to brutal and sadistic
early childhood trauma.
