This practical guide is written for mental health providers working in settings that do not offer specialized treatment for patients with borderline personality disorder (BPD) yet find themselves working with these patients. For many busy practitioners, specialty referral for these patients is often simply not available. As such, these providers are left doing the best job they can with the resources available.
