Letter to the Editor

Sir: As part of a psychiatry residents’ journal club, we reviewedthe recently published study by Berman et al. on the efficacyof adjunctive aripiprazole versus adjunctive placebo inpatients with unipolar, nonpsychotic major depression. We identifiedone potential confounding factor, for which we thoughtfurther data might provide some clarification.
