Article Abstract

Because this piece does not have an abstract, we have provided for your benefit the first 3 sentences of the full text.

MondayAG is a 38-year-old C-5 quadriplegic man whom I have been seeing for a fewyears now. He was injured 15 years ago as a witness to a robbery and has sincedone reasonably well with a surprising level of self-sufficiency. He works as atechnical consultant for a big corporation downtown, and he always seems tobe planning his next move. I was markedly concerned, therefore, when Ireceived his message that his “nerves” were getting to him.
