Dashing Through the Schedule

Article Abstract

Because this piece has no abstract, we have provided for your benefit the first 3 sentences of the full text.

My practice routinely splits in half over the holidays; we each take 1 weekoff and work the other with a half crew so that everyone gets time home withfamily. To make this work, we prohibit physical examinations and limit routinefollow-up visits during this time. Ostensibly, this frees us up to see more sickvisits and thus keeps the gears of the practice moving during these winter days.
