Identifying and Treating Cognitive Impairments in Elderly Patients
Steven P. Roose, M.D.
Elderly patients with depression are at risk for developing mild cognitive impairment (MCI), and some patients with MCI may go on to develop Alzheimer’s disease. This interactive Case and Comment follows Mr. P through the initial diagnosis and treatment of MCI and introduces measurements to predict his likelihood of converting to Alzheimer’s disease.
