For the past 75 years, The Journal of Clinical Psychiatry (ISSN 0160-6889) has been the leading international source of peer-reviewed, indexed articles for clinicians about the diagnosis and treatment of psychiatric disorders. JCP is the official journal of the American Society of Clinical Psychopharmacology. JCP publishes articles covering a wide spectrum of topics including depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, anxiety, addition, premenstrual dysphoric disorder, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, eating disorders and clinically relevant measurement tools. JCP offers CME articles, which are accredited by the CME Institute of Physicians Postgraduate Press, Inc.
The print edition of JCP is distributed to an international audience of 36,000 and the web hosts JCP and provides visitors with ongoing articles online prior to their print distribution. JCP was purchased by Physicians Postgraduate Press, Inc., in 1974 and carried the title Diseases of the Nervous System. Since the name change, JCP has become one of the most-read and cited journals in Psychiatry.
