Depression or Menopause? Presentation and Management of Major Depressive Disorder in Perimenopausal and Postmenopausal Women

Women may be at increased risk for psychiatric problems and poorer quality of life during the menopausal transition. In this review article, examine the risk of depression onset in perimenopausal and postmenopausal women, and find out how to screen for and manage depression in your perimenopausal and postmenopausal patients.
