The World Psychiatric Association (WPA) produced an earlier book on schizophrenia some 10 years ago edited by Professors Mario Maj and Norman Sartorius. Now Professor Gaebel—who is a leading expert on schizophrenia—has edited this most current text, which will be a valuable source of information for mental health clinicians. The WPA text well reflects advances in both the neuroscience and treatment of schizophrenia.
