Sir: Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is a chronic and debilitating psychiatric disorder. The lifetime prevalence of OCD is estimated to be 1.94% to 3.29% according to population- based surveys.1–3 Serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SRIs) are known to be effective in OCD.4–6
