The book provides a breadth of information regarding therise of resistance movements and their impact on psychiatriccare. The author does a wonderful job of describing how socialmovements gained traction and lays a solid foundation for thelanguage particular to this field for those who are unfamiliarwith it. The first few chapters develop the background of socialmovement organizations and chronicle the necessary aspects ofsuccessful movements.’ ‹
