Ask the JCP Editors

Submit a clinical question to The Journal of Clinical Psychiatry Editorial Board.

In keeping with The Journal of Clinical Psychiatry's goal to serve as a valuable resource for practicing clinicians, JCP is piloting a program that gives clinicians the opportunity to submit questions to the JCP Editorial Board. Selected questions will be answered in written or video format and published on Psychiatrist.com, as well as shared across JCP's social media channels on LinkedIn, Facebook, and X.

Who can participate?

At this time the program is available only for practicing clinicians whose credentials can be validated through an automated NPI verification method (US only). We regret that we are unable to accept submissions from those without a verified NPI.

What questions will be selected?

As this is a pilot program, the JCP Editorial Board is unable to answer all questions submitted — selection is at the discretion of the JCP team.

Will I be informed if my question is selected?

Yes, you will receive an email notification with a link to the output in which your question is answered. All questions will be treated as anonymous contributions – the name of the submitter will not be included in the answer.
