Sir: Despite extensive clinical use of serotonin reuptake inhibitors, clomipramine, and venlafaxine1 in the treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), to our knowledge there have been no reports on the use of duloxetine to treat patients with this disorder. We report the successful use of duloxetine to treat a patient with OCD.
