Anthony J. Rothschild, MD, has published extensively on major depressive disorder, schizophrenia and schizoaffective disorders, and suicide. His work includes studies on pharmacogenomics in medication outcomes, treatment responses in psychotic depression, and the prevention of recurrent depressive episodes with venlafaxine. Rothschild has also investigated gender and menopausal influences on antidepressant response, as well as the clinical implications of impaired insight and suicidality in psychotic depression. His articles have appeared in Psychiatrist.com between 1998 and 2019.
