About
Anton C. Vergouwen, MD, PhD, has published research on the treatment and management of mood disorders, including major depressive disorder and bipolar disorder. His work includes clinical trials assessing the efficacy and safety of lamotrigine as an adjunct to lithium in bipolar depression, as well as studies on improving patient beliefs about antidepressants in primary care settings. He has also investigated factors related to the initial rate of improvement and remission in major depressive disorder.
