Betsy D. Kennard, PsyD, is affiliated with the Department of Psychiatry and the Division of Psychology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, as well as the Department of Psychiatry at Children’s Health, Children’s Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. Her publications focus on child and adolescent psychiatry, particularly the treatment and management of depression in youth. Kennard has contributed to research on predicting remission from depression in outpatient medication management and on suicidal events in adolescents undergoing depression treatment.
