Edna B. Foa, PhD, has published extensively on the treatment of posttraumatic stress disorder, obsessive-compulsive and related disorders, addiction, anxiety, and depression. Her work includes clinical trials and evaluations of exposure therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, pharmacological augmentation, and psychosocial interventions. Foa's research has addressed treatment adherence, symptom remission, and mental health assessment following mass disasters. She has frequently collaborated with Jonathan R. T. Davidson, Helen Blair Simpson, Allen Frances, Carmen P. McLean, and Jonathan D. Huppert.
