José Luis Ayuso-Mateos, PhD, is affiliated with the Instituto de Investigación Sanitaria del Hospital Universitario de La Princesa, IIS Princesa, and the Instituto de Salud Carlos III, Centro de Investigación Biomédica en Red de Salud Mental, CIBERSAM, as well as the Department of Psychiatry at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. Between 2008 and 2023, Ayuso-Mateos published research on bipolar disorder, psychotic disorders including schizophrenia and schizoaffective disorders, and somatoform disorders.
