Julie C. Gass, PhD, is affiliated with the VA Center for Integrated Healthcare at the Western New York VA Healthcare System and the Department of Psychology at the University at Buffalo, State University of New York. Her publications focus on addiction, specifically examining barriers and facilitators to changing smoking and risky drinking behaviors in primary care patients with chronic conditions, as well as delivering brief tobacco and alcohol interventions in integrated primary care settings. She has collaborated frequently with Jennifer S. Funderburk, Stephen A. Maisto, and Jennifer M. Wray.
