Miguel Gutiérrez, PhD, MD, has published research on addiction, neurology, and suicide, with a focus on the clinical implications of substance use and psychiatric disorders. His work includes studies on the impact of cannabis and other drugs on the onset of psychosis, suicide attempts in bipolar disorder, and the relationship between tobacco smoking and bipolar disorder.
