Sally Stephens, PhD, is affiliated with the UK Teratology Information Service at Newcastle-upon-Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and the Institute of Health and Society at Newcastle University. Her publications focus on the risks of cardiac malformations and major infant malformations associated with maternal use of medications such as methylphenidate and duloxetine during pregnancy. Her research addresses clinical intersections of cardiology, depression, and women's health. She has collaborated frequently with Adrienne Einarson and other colleagues.
