Dr. Jefferson: Dr. Settle, is there any evidence thatsildenafil might be useful for treating antidepressantinducedsexual dysfunction?Dr. Settle: The short answer to that question is that wedon’ t know. There have been no studies done to determinethis, and there are few anecdotal reports. I personallyhave prescribed sildenafil for 3 of my patients whowere experiencing sexual difficulties, but it was not beneficialin any of them.
