Sir: This letter is in response to "The Death of a Buddha" (A PSYCHIATRIST’ S DIARY, October 2006).1 Shyam K. Bhat, M.D., wrote a very thought-provoking column that I enjoyed. I noticed that he is from the Department of Internal Medicine at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, so I am not sure if his perspective is as a psychiatrist or internist.’ ‹
