Robert G. Zylstra, EdD

Published: December 15, 2006

Article Abstract
This book ended up being more than I expected. I wasanticipating a handy reference source for commonly usedpsychotropic medications, which it is, but that is only partof what makes this a useful and valuable resource tool. The Handbook of Clinical Psychopharmacology forTherapists is logically organized into 3 major sections. Thefirst, “Understanding Psychopharmacology: The Basics,”is easily the most academic of the three.
