Fangyi Zhao, PhD, has published research focused on genetics and its relationship to schizophrenia and schizoaffective disorders, as well as the impact of antipsychotic treatment on weight. The author’s work includes pharmacogenomic studies of weight gain associated with olanzapine and analyses of gene variants related to iloperidone and risperidone response. Zhao has also investigated dosing strategies for olanzapine in borderline personality disorder and explored treatment duration effects on functional outcomes in psychotic disorders.
