Jan Dirk Blom, MD, PhD, has published research on psychiatric conditions including major depressive disorder and schizophrenia/schizoaffective disorders. His work includes phenomenological comparisons of auditory verbal hallucinations in both healthy and psychotic individuals, as well as meta-analyses evaluating the efficacy of repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) as a treatment method in psychiatric disorders.
