René S. Kahn, MD, PhD, is affiliated with the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health System at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York. Since 2007, Kahn has published extensively on schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorders, bipolar disorder, and weight-related issues. His work includes studies on antipsychotic treatments such as olanzapine and samidorphan, the efficacy of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs in schizophrenia, and interventions for auditory hallucinations.
