Jill I. Mattia, Ph.D., has published research focused on the diagnosis and subtyping of major depressive disorder (MDD) and somatoform disorders. Her work includes studies on melancholia, the psychotic subtypes of MDD and posttraumatic stress disorder, and the validation of screening questionnaires for DSM-IV Axis I disorders in psychiatric outpatients. Mattia has collaborated frequently with Mark Zimmerman and Iwona Chelminski.
