Jim Mintz, PhD, is affiliated with the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and the Research and Development Service at the South Texas Veterans Health Care System. His publications, spanning from 1999 to 2023, focus on bipolar disorder, addiction, major depressive disorder, neurodevelopmental and neurological conditions, psychopharmacology, schizophrenia and schizoaffective disorders, as well as veterans and military issues. His research includes clinical trials, longitudinal studies, and retrospective chart reviews addressing treatment efficacy, diagnostic criteria, functional impairment, and neuroimaging in psychiatric populations.
