Miranda Chakos, MD, has published extensively on the clinical management of schizophrenia and schizoaffective disorders. Her work includes studies on the use of atypical antipsychotics in treatment-resistant schizophrenia, the safety of these medications in complex cases such as postpartum psychosis with comorbid neuromuscular conditions, and the evaluation of olanzapine in refractory schizophrenia following prior antipsychotic treatment failures.
