Philip Gerretsen, MD, PhD, FRCPC, has published extensively on cognition and neuropsychiatric conditions including schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorders, Alzheimer disease, and major depressive disorder. His research topics cover anosognosia and brain metabolism in mild cognitive impairment, insight and cognition in schizophrenia, dopamine receptor occupancy related to hyperprolactinemia in older patients with schizophrenia, and the impact of impaired insight on treatment outcomes in psychotic depression.
