Robert A. Schoevers, MD, PhD, is affiliated with the University of Groningen, University Medical Center Groningen, Department of Psychiatry, and the Research School of Behavioural and Cognitive Neurosciences in the Netherlands. Since 2015, Schoevers has published extensively on topics including major depressive disorder, anxiety, psychotic disorders, suicide, and patient care in psychiatry. His research includes studies on ketamine treatment for depression, clinical staging of major depressive disorder, and predictive validity of diagnostic criteria for anxiety and depression outcomes. Schoevers has collaborated frequently with Brenda W. J. H. Penninx, Aartjan T. F. Beekman, and other colleagues.
