Harold J. G. M. van Megen, MD, has published extensively on obsessive-compulsive and related disorders, anxiety, anxiolytics, and major depressive disorder. His work includes clinical trials and studies on pharmacological treatments such as quetiapine, paroxetine, and venlafaxine, as well as behavioral therapy in obsessive-compulsive disorder and social anxiety disorder. Van Megen’s research, conducted between 2004 and 2005, often involved randomized controlled trials and open-label studies. He has frequently collaborated with Herman G. M.
