Jörg Walden, MD, has published extensively on the treatment and clinical characteristics of bipolar disorder and major depressive disorder between 1999 and 2005. His work includes investigations into adjunctive pharmacological therapies such as zonisamide, levetiracetam, lamotrigine, and tiagabine for mood disorders, as well as studies on factors related to suicide attempts and weight issues in bipolar patients. Walden’s research also spans neurology and the evaluation of treatment efficacy in acute mania.
