Madhusmita Misra, MD, is affiliated with the Neuroendocrine Unit and Division of Pediatric Endocrinology at Massachusetts General Hospital, as well as the Department of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School and the Mass General Brigham Multidisciplinary Eating Disorder Research Collaborative. Since 2004, Misra has published extensively on eating disorders, child and adolescent psychiatry, women’s health, and metabolic disorders. Research topics include hormonal regulation in avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder, anorexia nervosa subtypes, and the effects of estrogen and androgen deficiencies on psychiatric symptoms and bone metabolism.
