Autoimmune Diseases, Treatments, and Dementia Risk: A Population-Based Case-Control Study from Taiwan

Thirteen autoimmune diseases were linked with an elevated dementia risk, particularly Behçet's disease, multiple sclerosis, and lupus. Associations with vascular dementia were stronger than with Alzheimer's disease.
