Multiple Rib Fractures Secondary to Severe Tardive Dystonia and Respiratory Dyskinesia

Sir: Szymanski et al. reported rib factures as an unusual
complication of severe tardive dystonia in 1993. An extensive
MEDLINE search revealed no further cases reported in the
English literature since. We now report an Asian patient who developed
a similar complication and discuss the distinct features
of the complication.
