Overcoming Treatment Resistance in Depression

Treatment-resistant depression is commonly encountered by mental health professionals. Strategiesfor the treatment of resistant depression, including augmentation strategies and switching antidepressants,are reviewed. The potential advantages and disadvantages of each of these strategies arediscussed.
