Sir: We appreciate Dr. Frankenburg’s thoughtful letter outliningher reservations about the proposed use of folate supplementationin the psychiatric field. Dr. Frankenburg points out anumber of concerns regarding potentially harmful effects of folate.We have considered these issues and conducted some additionalliterature review to address her questions.
